Gloria, our Photo Booth Camper has been getting a lot of attention these days. This time she is featured on Martha Stewart Weddings for “20 Inventive Ways to Revamp Your Wedding Photo Booth”. And we’d have to agree, our photo booths are defiinetly a fresh new take on the traditional photo booth. This photo by Kristyn Villars was taken for a wedding we did at Higuera Ranch in San Luis Obispo.
We are happy to announce the Traveling Photo Bus is a new member of The Wedding Standard community! They have an amazing group of wedding vendors that have been verified as outstanding vendors in their fields. As we relocate our photo booths to the central coast, we look forward to meeting new vendors from the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo wedding and events industry. Cheers to 2019 in the central coast!
Gloria, our Photo Booth Camper is featured on Brides for this vibrant, tropical wedding in downtown Los Angeles!
Last year we made some really incredible memories. We built and debuted our custom vintage Photo Booth Camper, Gloria. Our VW Photo Booth Bus found herself at Coachella in Palm Springs, Napa in Sonoma county and all over southern California. We also teamed up with our favorite creative vendors to create some inspirational styled shoots.
We look forward to 2019 and can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. Hopefully we’ll be brining our unique photo booths to your next California fiesta! :)
Wishing all of you a very happy holiday season. No matter what your beliefs, what you celebrate, who you love, how you identify or what country you are from: we wish you love, peace and happiness in the coming year.
Love to all,
Traveling Photo Bus Fam
We’re featured again, this time on 100 Layer Cakelet for this amazing ultra modern and colorful Bat Mitzvah! Along with our photo booth bus, there was an incredible team of vendors who gave a fresh take on the traditional Bat Mitzvah.

Ready for a feel-good story, guys? What was slated to be a small backyard pizza party wedding ended up being this dreamy Sacred Mountain Julian celebration thanks to Project Darling, from the gals at Details, Darling. Along with all the incredible vendors , they offered up a FREE wedding to one deserving couple, and Michelle + Jordan were the lucky duo they chose.
M + J submitted their application on one of the very last days to enter, and began thinking about whose backyard they may be able to have a small wedding in, and where they’d get the pizza. Not too long later, they got the call that they’d actually get to celebrate with 130 people in a woodsy, enchanted wedding in California exactly one year after the proposal… Best news eva!

Gloria the Photo Booth Camper made her Hollywood debut at the premier of the new HBO show, Camping, starring Jennifer Garner! Bespoke Boheme did an incredible job coordinating and styling the camping themed party and the photo booth camper of course fit in perfectly with the theme!
Hi friends! We are happy to announce we are moving to Santa Barbra county! We loved living in Southern California, but are so excited to start our new journey on the central coast, and guess what?!! We’ll be living in an 1968 Airstream we are currently renovating! Crazy? Maybe, but we have always strived to have a small footprint and hope to save money to one day buy our own home.
Mabel, our photo booth bus and Gloria our photo booth camper are still able to travel all over California so don’t worry if you have an event elsewhere.

We had the best weekend up in Buellton, CA, about an hour north of Santa Barbra, at the launch party for the Osborne bothers new wine label, Otrio Wine Co. They had an awesome party on their insanely beautiful ranch where they debuted their delicious Ramblin’ Rosé. If your a fan of rosé I would HIGHLY recommend theirs. I was surprised how much I enjoyed, since I’m not a huge rosé lover, but it wasn’t too sweet and super smooth… almost dangerously drinakable. Along with the rosé and our photo booth bus, there was yummy tacos from Valley Fresh, lawn games, and live music from the dreamy Victoria Bailey!
We had the honor of having our photo booth bus at our first same sex wedding for the most amazing couple, Natalie and Daisy. The Long Bech couple was by far the sweetest, most loving, and laid back couple we have worked with. Both fans of VW Bus, we were thirlled to bring our bus and make their big day even more special. We fully support same sex marriage, and hope to do many more same sex weddings in the future. #equallywed #loveislove

This month we took the Traveling Photo Bus up to Northern California for a corporate event in downtown Sonoma. After all the photo booth fun we of course had to stay a few extra days to do some wine tasting and exploring. Driving the VW Bus along the winding ocean roads, over vineyard covered rolling hills and through the redwoods forest was pure magic. Our road trip consisted of Napa, Sonoma, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Point Reyes Light House and ending in Tomales Bay for oysters and rosé.
Here are some highlights of our trip to Sonoma in the Traveling Photo Bus :)
Check out our latest collab with Black Twine for a 70's themed Birthday Party with out 1971 VW Photo Booth Bus.
YOU GUYS! After lots of blood, sweat and tears we finally finished our Vintage Photo Booth Camper... and it looks better than I could have ever imagined! Someone needs to pinch me because I feel like I'm dreaming every-time I look at it.
I want to give a HUGE shout out to my amazing husband who built this dreamboat all on his own and over the course of 6 long months! Needless to say we're all super happy it's finished and excited to share it with everyone.
The Photo Booth Camper is named after my late Great Grandmother, Gloria.
The Camper is an exact replica of a 1958 Field & Stream Camper. Click here to see build photos of the trailer.
Gloria - the photo booth camper is ready to roll to your wedding or special event! Now traveling all over California.
We had the best time working with Just Fab for their Coachella activation in Palm Springs, CA. From a Real House Wife to some Bachelorette's the photo booth bus had some gorgeous visitors during the whirlwind weekend.
A few weeks ago we helped Amanda Stanton celebrate her adorable daughters birthdays with a Kidchella themed party. You heard right KIDCHELLA, sounds super cute right?...IT WAS! Obviously no Coachella themed party is complete without our 71 VW Photo Booth Bus, along with a braid bar, custom flower crown making, a stage for the kids to sing and dance, a castle bounce house, yummy desserts and amazing lounge set-ups! See all the fun below :)

You guys! Our vintage camper photo booth build is looking AMAZING! My husband has been working his butt off and it's really starting to come together. We finished almost all of the exterior (still need a door and paint job) and have started on the interior. We have the inside all wired up for both a 12v marine battery and shore power, insulation up and started putting up the walls. We should have Gloria (named after my great grandma) nearly finished by the end of this month and just in time for wedding season!
If you interested in having a unique, alternative photo booth at your wedding shoot us an email to reserve your date now. all over Central and Southern California
Backstory: We bought a 1958 Field and Stream camper off Craigslist in hopes to restore it into a photo booth camper to add to the bus. However, after getting the camper home and deconstructing it, it literally needed a full overhaul. It had been in an accident and the metal frame it sat on was badly tweaked, there was extensive water damage and needed all new outside panneling. So after a lot of back and forth we decided to build a brand new replica of the original we bought since we would be rebuilding esentially the whole thing anyways. The new frame is now a lot safer and the structure is much more sound and lighter than the original. Best of all it's looking just as awesome as it did in 1958!
We traveled up to Santa Ynez in Central California to join in Otrio Cellars photo-shoot to promote their new Rose. This new small label wine producer is ran by the Osborne brothers (Nick and Nathan) and their father Kurt - hence O-trio for the 3 of them. The grapes are grown on a breathtaking 20+ acre property and has been in family for over 50years. We were lucky enough to try their first ever rose and it was insanely delicious!
We cant wait to head back to Santa Ynez; it is such a magical place and the drive up the coast in the Traveling Photo Bus is so beautiful. If you are getting married in Santa Ynez and in need of a photo booth PLEASE give us shout!
